Ledian Lounge, about a three-minute walk from Ebisu Station, is a lounge with a large atrium, bar counter, and sofa seating. The venue lists it as the filming location for ≒JOY’s ‘Amagami Girl feat. DJ ALICE’ music video.

DJ ALICE in the song is member Arisu Yamano. The group also performed this song at its March 2026 Budokan concert. To visit the music video location, order shaved ice during the daytime and spend time inside the lounge.

The venue is open 3:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m.; 3:00–6:00 p.m. is café time, and after 6:00 p.m. it operates as a shisha bar. The official FAQ says guests of all ages are allowed until 6:00 p.m., and those under 20 may not enter after that. Private rooms have separate age and minimum-use-time rules, so confirm before booking if minors are in your party or you want a private room.

There is a seating charge during café hours as well. Semi-private rooms start at ¥1,100 per hour and private rooms at ¥4,400 per hour. The address is 7F Q Plaza Ebisu Minami, 2-3-14 Ebisu-minami.

Togoshi Park and Ecoru Togoshi | Garden in the drama starring Renon Esumi, plus exhibits on the environment

A woman looking across the central pond of Togoshi Park from a path with a wooden fence

Walk around the pond and look at the gate and small waterfall at Togoshi Park. The park uses the grounds of a former feudal lord’s garden from the Edo period and was one of the filming locations for ‘Shinagawa Mystery Club,’ starring ≒JOY’s Renon Esumi.

Shinagawa City produced the drama and released all three episodes on March 28, 2024. Esumi played one of three middle-school friends alongside Teruhisa Takura of THE SUPER FRUIT and Goin Naito of Yo ga Yo Nara!!!. They are drawn into a case after finding a dead man and a mysterious note in the park, then race around the city in this mystery drama. Ichiro Anabuki wrote the script, and Satoshi Tsukuda directed. The city’s release report lists both Togoshi Park and Ecoru Togoshi inside the park as filming locations.

The park is a stroll garden developed on the site of a secondary residence of the Hosokawa family. Around the pond are a ravine, waterfall, and landscaped hill. The main gate is a yakui-mon gate, and the east gate is a kabuki-mon gate. Plum, cherry, rhododendron, and ginkgo trees bring changing colors through the seasons.

Enjoy hands-on exhibits at Ecoru Togoshi in the park

Ecoru Togoshi is a Shinagawa City facility where visitors can learn about the environment through engaging activities. The exhibit area is free and open 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; the community lounge is open 7:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. Video exhibits include ‘Balance Planet,’ about the relationship between cities and nature, and ‘Touch the Living Things,’ where even young children can take part. The permanent exhibit ‘Time to Ask’ explores the environment through spans of one second, one day, one year, and ten years. These are exhibits at the current facility; filming records do not indicate that Esumi visited every exhibit.

The facility is closed on the fourth Monday of each month (or the following weekday if it is a holiday) and over the New Year period. It is about a seven-minute walk from Togoshi-koen and Shimo-shinmei stations, making the park and facility an easy combined visit.

Hodosan Ropeway and SUSABINO Terrace | The summit reached by Ayumi Ichihara and Aoi Onishi

Two people seated on round chairs at SUSABINO Terrace on Mount Hodo, looking toward the mountain range

Ride the ropeway for about five minutes, then walk another five minutes from the summit station to SUSABINO Terrace on Mount Hodo. The observation terrace offers views of the Chichibu mountains on clear days. Ayumi Ichihara and Aoi Onishi visited on ‘Niajoy Drive Club,’ released in June 2026.

This series follows members as they travel to different places by car for interviews. The two rode the ‘Monkey’ ropeway. It was pouring on the day of filming, and the summit was wrapped in white fog. The misty scenery in the article and the clear-day views on the official site show two different faces of the same place.

At SUSABINO Kitchen on the summit, they tried ‘Tenku Musubi,’ pyramid-shaped rice balls. Aoi Onishi chose ‘Aoi,’ with tuna, corn, and edamame; Ayumi Ichihara chose ‘Hinata,’ with egg yolk and salmon roe. The article noted that ‘Hinata’ and the soft-serve ice cream they had at the time would be discontinued in July, so treat this as a record of a past menu, not the current one.

An adult round-trip ropeway ticket costs ¥1,200. Normal hours are 9:40 a.m.–5:00 p.m., but seasonal schedules and weather may change service. Check the kitchen’s operating days and hours as well. Views depend on the weather that day.

Chichibu Parry Shokudo | The dishes they chose and plans to renovate and preserve the building

Illustration of the exterior of Parry Shokudo before renovation, based on the actual view from May 2023

On a corner of Banba Street is Parry Shokudo, a restaurant that retains its Showa-era design. It has operated since 1927 in a building registered as a tangible cultural property. Ayumi Ichihara and Aoi Onishi also stopped here during their ‘Niajoy Drive Club’ interview after visiting Mount Hodo. Renovation work to preserve the building is planned, so confirm the current operating location and whether customers can enter before visiting.

In the June 22, 2026 article, Aoi ordered an omelet-rice, pudding, and cream-soda set. Ayumi chose a katsu-curry and pudding set. The chicken rice is wrapped in a firm-fried egg, and the curry has pork in both the cutlet and the sauce. The interview records even the difference between the dishes they ordered.

In July 2026, the restaurant’s operator announced collaborative research with a laboratory at Tokyo University of Science on preserving and restoring the building. At that time, work was expected to begin around October and take about six months. They were also considering operating from another property during the renovation.

As checked on October 23, 2026, the official site listed hours of 11:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with last orders at 6:30 p.m., but we found no notice confirming when construction would begin or where the restaurant would operate during the work. Do not assume the same meal will be available inside the building as when the interview was filmed; contact the restaurant before visiting. The building on Banba-cho is about a three-minute walk from Ohanabatake Station and an eight-minute walk from Seibu-Chichibu Station.

Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium | The third anniversary brought ‘Taiikukan Disco’ into a grand space

Two people walking in early March at dusk in front of Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium’s blue-lit roof and plaza tower

Near Sendagaya Station, Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium’s distinctive large roof stretches across the skyline. On March 1, 2025, ≒JOY held their third-anniversary concert here, drawing about 12,000 people across two shows.

The concert unfolded in the setting of the fictional HOTEL GRAND TIARA. A mirror ball lit up for ‘Taiikukan Disco,’ and a giant tiara-shaped light appeared for ‘Hatsukoi Cinderella.’ The stage expanded the imagery and song titles to fill the entire gymnasium.

The third-anniversary concert was announced at the tour finale at Makuhari Messe the previous year. Then, at Ariake Arena in November 2025, they announced that their next anniversary concert would be at Budokan. Trace the anniversary milestones as the group moved between venues.

Nippon Budokan | Renon Esumi’s guitar and a fourth anniversary dream come true

Nippon Budokan stands within Kitanomaru Park. On March 13, 2026, ≒JOY held their fourth-anniversary concert, drawing about 20,000 people across two shows. The audience surrounded the stage on all sides, and the show opened with the group’s namesake song, ‘≒JOY.’

They premiered ‘Nonfiction’ and ‘Bokutachi no Uta,’ while Renon Esumi sang her first solo song, ‘The rock is you!’ In the second half, she returned with an electric guitar and performed ‘Mubojin’ with a live band, then played a guitar solo in ‘Chou Kodoku Lion.’

At Budokan, the song ‘Mubojin,’ first performed on the Fukuoka tour, was delivered with live instrumentation and Esumi on guitar. The concert report also records that she had practiced for the show on an instrument she had previously played as a hobby.

The joy of meeting, captured in the name

≒JOY (pronounced ‘Nearly Equal Joy’) is the third group produced by Rino Sashihara, following =LOVE and ≠ME. The final audition took place on January 30, 2022, and the members were introduced and the group name announced on March 29 that year. The name carries the hope that the members and fans will feel joy and happiness when they meet.

The group’s major-label debut was the mini-album ‘Kitto, Zettai, Zettai,’ released January 17, 2024. Before the release, they held their first concert at Pacifico Yokohama and the first tour, ‘Absolute,’ visiting four cities nationwide with original songs and covers.

The official profile currently lists 12 members. At concerts, they sing as a full group as well as in solo and smaller unit performances. At the 2024 Makuhari show, three members—Mizuki Oshida, Momoka Yamada, and Arisu Yamano—performed a song by ≠ME, as did a duo of Aoi Onishi and Aimi Ozawa, and a trio of Renon Esumi, Mai Takahashi, and Riko Fujisawa. The remaining four—Jurii Aida, Konoa Amano, Ayumi Ichihara, and Yuka Murayama—sang =LOVE’s ‘Doko ga Suki ka Itte.’

Hear ‘Mubojin’ at three different venues

Rino Sashihara wrote the lyrics to ‘Mubojin,’ with music and arrangement by YU-JIN and SHIN. shun murakami directed its music video, and CRE8BOY choreographed it. After premiering on the first tour, it was released as the lead song from the group’s debut mini-album.

It premiered as a new song at Zepp Fukuoka in December 2023, then appeared twice at Zepp Haneda in January the following year—as the opening and again in the encore. At Nippon Budokan in March 2026, center member Renon Esumi played electric guitar herself with the live band. At the 2024 tour finale at Makuhari, she also performed with a glowing sword.

As the song’s center, Renon Esumi delivered an intense gaze and vocals; at Budokan, guitar added a new kind of expression. Another highlight noted in the official Haneda show report is the powerful high-note vocal runs by Aimi Ozawa and Riko Fujisawa near the end.

Get to know all 12 members through harmonies and units

The song harmonized by Jurii Aida and Aoi Onishi near the end of the second-anniversary concert was ≠ME’s ‘Kimi no Oto Datta nda.’ Onishi appeared midway through ‘≒JOY’ at the afternoon show and also took part in the evening performance. The milestone was marked by all 12 members singing together, including Onishi after her return.

‘Nonfiction,’ which premiered at Nippon Budokan, featured Aida, Onishi, Aimi Ozawa, and Riko Fujisawa, joined by Mai Takahashi and Momoka Yamada. It is a unit song that layers six voices over guitar, and was released for streaming on April 3, 2026, alongside the full-group song ‘Bokutachi no Uta.’ ‘Bokutachi no Uta’ was written for the Budokan concert.

At Ariake Arena, Ayumi Ichihara, Mizuki Oshida, and Yuka Murayama performed the unit song ‘Dadada, Datte.’ At the Budokan concert the following year, Oshida tearfully shared that not only her own dream but also the dreams of fans and members had come true. ‘Dadada, Datte’ was the group’s first unit song, included on its second single, ‘Hatsukoi Cinderella.’

At Ariake, the duo of Konoa Amano and Arisu Yamano also performed ‘0120 Tasukeya-san.’ Amano was the center for the title track of the fourth single ‘Densha Bangou Oshiete!’ Yamano appears as DJ ALICE in ‘Amagami Girl feat. DJ ALICE,’ showing how the same members take on different roles depending on the song.

Love songs and party songs

Released in February 2026, ‘Densha Bangou Oshiete!’ is a classic love song about the excitement of an unrequited crush on someone you like. Rino Sashihara wrote the lyrics; Ayumu Nakamura and Sota Saito composed and arranged the song. Eri Yoshikawa directed the music video, and SACO MAKITA choreographed it. At Budokan, the group performed it in the second half with a live band, then returned to sing it again in the encore.

‘Amagami Girl feat. DJ ALICE,’ meanwhile, is a party track with lyrics by Rino Sashihara and music and arrangement by Takahiro Furukawa. Toshitsugu Ono directed the music video, with choreography by Idomin. Knowing about the filming at Ledian Lounge in Ebisu and the mini-sketch-style video at Nippon Budokan helps show how the song’s playful energy extends into the venue and the interlude between live performances.

‘Ai ga Itakatta’ from the same single was composed and arranged by Menma, with choreography by CRE8BOY. The music video was directed by the same Toshitsugu Ono who directed ‘Amagami Girl.’ The three songs, including the title track, have different composers and choreographers; the Type E CD includes all three and their instrumental versions.

Turn song titles into lights onstage

‘Hatsukoi Cinderella,’ which opened the tour finale at Makuhari Messe, was performed the following year at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium under a giant tiara-shaped light. For the first single ‘Taiikukan Disco,’ a huge mirror ball spun from the ceiling of an actual gymnasium. These stage effects translated the songs’ titles and imagery into lights the audience could look up at from the arena seats.

At the start of the third-anniversary show, members in maid costumes appeared in the aisles carrying flashlights and sang ‘Chou Kodoku Lion.’ The performance unfolded as a story, following instructions sent from a fictional hotel. A final video revealed the identity of the person behind the instructions. The show’s structure included the videos shown between songs as part of the overall concert.

The 24-song set of ‘Nice to Meet You, ≒JOY’

The concert contains 24 songs after the overture, with the group’s namesake song ‘≒JOY’ at both the beginning and end. Highlights from the first half through the middle include a range of covers, such as =LOVE’s ‘Todoite LOVE YOU♡,’ ≠ME’s ‘Kimi no Oto Datta nda,’ and Rino Sashihara’s ‘Soredemo Suki da yo.’ One way to start listening is with songs you already know from their original performers.

In the latter half, original songs follow one after another: ‘Sono Saki wa Exalt,’ ‘Chou Kodoku Lion,’ ‘Ozora, Byun to,’ ‘Kyou mo Kimi no Yume wo Mitanda,’ ‘Waratte Fragile,’ and ‘Kitto, Aoi.’ After performing a range of covers, the group closes with a sequence of its own songs. Unlike an individual music video, the full concert’s set list gives a sense of the fresh momentum they had at the time.

This Pacifico Yokohama concert took place before ‘Mubojin’ premiered in Fukuoka. Starting with the performance shown here and following the record through the first tour, the second anniversary at Tokyo International Forum, and Nippon Budokan reveals how the new songs and stage production grew richer over time.

Differences between Type A and Type B editions

The behind-the-scenes making-of video and the night-show encore footage, ‘MC–≒JOY,’ are bonus features on the two-disc, first-press limited Type A Blu-ray (VVXL-195–196). The standard Type B Blu-ray (VVXL-197) and Type C DVD (VVBL-204) contain only the main concert.

The official product page also lists a photo card as an insert for the first-press edition, but whether one is included with a current order depends on each retailer’s stock and conditions. The Type B and Type C editions present the full concert, while Type A also includes the making-of video and night-show MC; the catalog numbers and contents differ.

Cover songs that led to ‘Kyou kara Kimi wa Koibito’ at Makuhari

The 2024 hall tour began at Fukuoka Civic Hall, visited four cities for eight shows, and concluded at Makuhari Messe. The evening show opened with ‘Hatsukoi Cinderella,’ moved from covers in the first half to ‘Shukusai’ in new costumes, and featured a chair-based performance of ‘Sono Saki wa Exalt.’

In the second half, ‘Peach Tea and Peach Pie’ was Momoka Yamada’s first song as center. For ‘Taiikukan Disco,’ they used fur-trimmed fans, and closed the main set with ‘≒JOY.’ During the encore, they announced the following year’s Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium concert, then returned for a double encore and performed ‘≒JOY’ once more.

Field notes | Business perspective: show growth across venues through a song’s evolution

≒JOY premiered ‘Mubojin’ in Fukuoka, then performed it as both the opening and encore at the final show of the Haneda tour. At Budokan, they performed it with Renon Esumi on guitar and a live band. Following a single song shows different stages: its debut, the close of a tour, and an anniversary challenge. This record’s strength is that it pairs the growing scale of the venues with changes in how the song was used and the members’ roles.

When introducing a group’s history, one approach is to use a song to connect past and present performances. New fans can follow the group’s progress; longtime fans can reflect on which changes they witnessed. For an anniversary video or concert exhibit, add comparisons of the first performance and a recent version alongside a chronological venue list. That means recording not only set lists but changes in instruments and staging as well.

FAQ

Where was the music video filmed?

The ‘Amagami Girl feat. DJ ALICE’ music video was filmed at Ledian Lounge in Ebisu. The venue has a six-meter-high main floor and sofa seating, where you can enjoy the atmosphere seen in the video.

Can minors visit Ledian Lounge?

The official FAQ allows guests of all ages during café hours, 3:00–6:00 p.m.; guests under 20 may not enter after 6:00 p.m. However, the private-room page lists separate age and minimum-use-time conditions, so contact the lounge before booking if minors are in your party or you want a private room. A seating charge also applies during café hours.

Where did the group premiere ‘Mubojin’?

At Zepp Fukuoka on December 25, 2023. At Zepp Haneda, the final show of the first tour, they sang it to open the concert and again in the encore. At Nippon Budokan in March 2026, Renon Esumi performed it on electric guitar with a live band.

Are Togoshi Park and Ecoru Togoshi separate places?

Ecoru Togoshi is inside Togoshi Park. Shinagawa City lists both as filming locations for ‘Shinagawa Mystery Club,’ starring Renon Esumi. You can combine a walk in the garden with free exhibits about the environment in one visit.

Are the menu items the two members ate on Mount Hodo still available?

In the June 2026 interview, Aoi Onishi chose the ‘Aoi’ Tenku Musubi, while Ayumi Ichihara chose ‘Hinata.’ The article said that ‘Hinata’ and the soft-serve ice cream they had at the time would be discontinued in July, so check SUSABINO Terrace’s current menu.

Does the Type B first-concert edition include behind-the-scenes footage?

The making-of video and additional night-show encore footage, ‘MC–≒JOY,’ are included in the first-press limited Type A edition (VVXL-195–196). The standard Type B Blu-ray (VVXL-197) contains only the concert.

Which release is a good place to start if I’m new to the group’s concert videos?

‘≒JOY 1st Concert: Nice to Meet You, ≒JOY’ captures their first solo concert at Pacifico Yokohama, the group’s starting point. It opens with ‘≒JOY’ and includes both senior-group covers and original songs, offering a look at the foundations of all 12 members’ singing and performance style.

Can visitors tour the audience seating at the concert venues anytime?

Entry to halls and arenas, including the seating and interior areas, depends on each facility’s event or concert ticket conditions. On days without a show, visitors can recall the stage from public shared areas and the building exterior.
