Hinatazaka46 Pilgrimage Guide: Miyazaki Spots & 'JOYFUL LOVE' / 'Mitakotonai Mamono' MV Locations
Across Miyazaki Prefecture, fans can visit numerous real-world locations featured in Hinatazaka46's variety programs and official YouTube videos—from Aoshima Shrine, where members paid a thanksgiving visit, to Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo, where the group competed in an outdoor ogiri comedy challenge on their flagship show 'Hinatazaka de Aimasho.' Visitors can see both the 'Devil's Washboard' wave-cut rock ledges encircling Aoshima Island (a designated National Natural Monument) and the chimpanzee exhibit that served as the stage for the comedy battle.
In September 2024, 'Hinata Fes 2024' took place at Hinata Miyazaki Prefectural Comprehensive Sports Park and Hinata Sun Marine Stadium, filling the city streets with welcome curtains and banners while local restaurants served special dishes designed with the members. Although the 2026 festival was canceled, this guide introduces all 9 pilgrimage destinations—spanning Aoshima activity hubs, barbecue spots, and local restaurants visited by the members, together with two iconic music video filming locations at the Site of Reversible Destiny in Yoro Town, Gifu Prefecture and Akibadai Park Pool in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
7 Miyazaki Pilgrimage Spots and 2 Iconic Music Video Locations
The bond between Miyazaki Prefecture—known as 'The Hinata (Sunny Place) of Japan'—and Hinatazaka46 blossomed from a 2019 television location shoot into the massive 2024 Hinata Fes celebration. The official pilgrimage map published by Miyazaki City highlights three districts—Central Downtown, Hitotsuba, and Aoshima / Kibana—allowing fans to tour Aoshima Shrine, Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo, Hinata Sun Marine Stadium Miyazaki, and local shops visited by the members.

1Aoshima Shrine: The Island Sanctuary Visited by Members for Thanksgiving Prayers
Hinatazaka46 members Mikuni Takahashi and Rio Shimizu visited Aoshima Shrine to offer thanksgiving prayers for Hinata Fes. Furthermore, in a video released on the official 'Hinatazaka Channel' YouTube channel on December 5, 2025, 3rd-generation member Marie Morimoto and 4th-generation member Tamaki Ishizuka traveled to Aoshima the day after the Fukuoka concert of the 'MONSTER GROOVE' arena tour, enjoying local street food and an evening visit to the illuminated shrine. If you plan to visit for seasonal night illuminations, check the current year's illumination dates and evening worship hours in advance.

The jagged, washboard-like rock ledges encircling Aoshima Island are popularly known as the 'Oni no Sentakuita' ('Devil's Washboard') and are designated as a National Natural Monument under the formal name 'Uplifted Wave-Cut Bench and Eroded Rock Ripples of Aoshima.' Formed as ocean waves eroded alternating tilted strata of hard sandstone and softer mudstone from the Miyazaki Group, the ledges expose a 20-to-100-meter-wide shelf at low tide whose appearance transforms dramatically with the rising and falling tide.

2Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo: Where Members Competed in an On-Site Ogiri Challenge
At Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo, members of Hinatazaka46 joined program MCs Audrey for the Miyazaki location special of 'Hinatazaka de Aimasho,' staging a lively ogiri comedy showdown directly in front of the chimpanzee enclosure. Regular opening hours are 9:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30) with Wednesdays closed, though hours may vary by season or event, so check the zoo's official schedule before visiting.

3Hinata Sun Marine Stadium Miyazaki: The Ballpark That Hosted Hinata Fes 2024
On September 7 and 8, 2024, 'Hinata Fes 2024' was held across Hinata Miyazaki Prefectural Comprehensive Sports Park and Hinata Sun Marine Stadium Miyazaki. Although the ballpark had previously been restricted to baseball games to protect its natural turf, modern turf-management methods and close cooperation with local authorities enabled the stadium's first-ever live concert—complete with water-cannon splashes, talk segments introducing Miyazaki, and a giant rainbow created across the stands by fans' penlights. Note that 'Hinata Fes 2026,' which had been scheduled for September 5–6, 2026, was officially canceled on September 2, 2026 with visitor safety as the top priority.

4Site of Reversible Destiny (Yoro Park): Filming Location for the ‘JOYFUL LOVE’ MV
The music video for 'JOYFUL LOVE' was filmed at the Site of Reversible Destiny in Yoro Park, located in Yoro Town, Gifu Prefecture. Conceived by artists Shusaku Arakawa and Madeline Gins as an experiential outdoor artwork, its colorful architectural pavilions and undulating terrain—including the 'Critical Resemblance House' topped with a roof shaped like Gifu Prefecture and the 'Elliptical Field' dotted with hills, hollows, and pathways—served as the vibrant stage for the video.
Visitors can walk right through the artwork while testing their physical sense of balance across the sloped ground. Opening hours are 9:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30), adult admission is 850 yen, and the site is closed on Tuesdays (or the following weekday if Tuesday is a holiday) and over the New Year period (December 29 to January 3). Because the grounds feature steep slopes and uneven footing, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.

5Akibadai Park Pool: The Open-Air Waterside Stage of ‘Mitakotonai Mamono’
In the music video for the 4th-generation song 'Mitakotonai Mamono,' the scenes of the members dancing in front of a bright blue outdoor swimming pool were filmed at the Akibadai Park Pool in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, where the pool deck, sparkling water, and wide open sky fill the frame.
The municipal complex features both indoor and outdoor pools that remain open to the general public today. Because the outdoor pool seen in the music video operates only during the summer season—unlike the year-round indoor pool—check the seasonal operating calendar and admission fees for the time of your visit.

Located on the 1st floor of the West Building at 6-3 Chuodori in central Miyazaki City, 'Grill Ranman' is a classic Western-style restaurant visited by the members. Its signature Chicken Nanban pairs roughly 180 grams of tender chicken breast with house-made sweet-and-sour nanban vinegar and rich tartar sauce, and service ends for the day once the prepared chicken breast portions sell out. Hours are 11:30–13:30 and 18:00–22:00, with Tuesdays closed (open if Tuesday is a public holiday).

Rewatching the Miyazaki Location Episodes and Concert Footage
Variety-show location shoots in Miyazaki took place in 2019 and 2023, and fans can also revisit the group's milestone Tokyo Dome concerts and 2024 Hinata Fes performances on official home video releases.
Miyazaki Variety Show Shoots: Quiz Battles, Local Cuisine, and a Return to the Beach
2019: Team Battles in Baseball Uniforms
During the 2019 Miyazaki location shoot for the group's flagship variety show 'Hinatazaka de Aimasho,' the members were divided into a Red Team and a White Team in the exact order they arrived at the airport. While the early-arriving Red Team received proper baseball uniforms printed with the 'HINATA' logo across the chest, the rule for the late-arriving White Team was that they had to draw their own logos by hand on plain white uniforms—prompting White Team member Hinano Kamimura to recall on her official blog that while she felt a little regretful and wished she had arrived earlier, she soon grew deeply attached to her hand-drawn uniform.
Following a dizzy-bat race on the sand at Sun Beach Hitotsuba and the ogiri comedy battle at Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo, the members took on a quiz competition about baseball and Miyazaki Prefecture in the parking lot of the restaurant 'Tonkatsu Shino.' The victorious White Team savored a tonkatsu set meal alongside an off-menu shabu-shabu hot-pot dish, where Kamimura experienced wrapping tender meat around fresh garlic chives for the very first time. In addition, the members' names were displayed on the giant electronic scoreboard at Sun Marine Stadium, Miyazaki Governor Shunji Kono appeared in person as the judge for a 'one-line adult charm' contest, and at their hotel—the Sheraton Grande Ocean Resort—show MC Toshiaki Kasuga of Audrey directed a promotional video, after which Kamimura fondly remembered eating bread and scrambled eggs with Hina Kawata and Miku Kanemura.
Thank-You Messages Left at Miyazaki Broadcasting (MRT)
Delighted that television broadcasts of 'Hinatazaka de Aimasho' had begun airing in Miyazaki, Hinano Kamimura also visited a special display booth set up inside the Miyazaki Broadcasting (MRT) station building. Reading handwritten messages sent in by local 'Ohisama' (the collective name for Hinatazaka46 fans) brought home how warmly the group was being cheered on even from afar, and the members left behind thank-you messages and an autographed poster. She also recounted how the three 'Miyazaki-ken' prefectural mascot dogs—wearing headgear modeled after hyuganatsu citrus, phoenix trees, and local jidori chicken—performed the choreography to 'Kyun' and 'Doremisolasido' right in front of them.

2023: The Sports Day Winning Team Returns to Miyazaki
In 2023, the members of the 'Higashimura Handsome Corps'—the winning team from the variety program's autumn sports day tournament—returned to Miyazaki Prefecture on a special reward location shoot. Participating 4th-generation member Haruka Yamashita wrote on her official blog that it was her second visit to Miyazaki since filming the 4th-generation teaser movie, recalling how much fun she had playing dizzy-bat on the beach, grilling barbecue, and eating shaved ice.

On the home video release of '3rd Hinatansai' at Tokyo Dome—the stage the group had long strived toward as their promised land—pre-renaming songs such as 'Hiragana Keyaki' and 'Seishun no Uma' were performed on the very same stage as post-renaming signature anthems like 'Kyun,' with the main performances from Day 1 and Day 2 as well as backstage documentary footage distributed across the respective Blu-ray and DVD editions.

Hinata Fes 2024 and Miyazaki’s Region-Wide Welcome Campaigns
During Hinata Fes 2024, the 'Hinata Expo' area inside the sports park lined up interactive booths and food stalls while welcome decorations filled stations and shopping arcades across Miyazaki. Here is a look back at how the regional collaboration unfolded.
Hinata Expo: Interactive Games, Mystery Rally, and the Daikon Yagura Tower
The 'Hinata Expo' zone at Hinata Fes 2024 was opened as a free-entry public space accessible even to visitors who did not hold concert tickets. Designed so Ohisama traveling from across Japan and local residents who regularly use the park could enjoy the festivities in the same venue, the grounds brought together PR booths from local companies and municipalities, a dedicated 'Hinatazaka de Aimasho' program area, full-length photo panels, and a digital stamp rally.
Kicking Targets and Jumping with Member Panels in the Variety Show Zone
Inside the 'Hinatazaka de Aimasho' program area, a soccer struck-out game devised by member Sumire Miyachi (using numbered entry tickets and free of charge to play) drew enthusiastic crowds: kicking three soccer balls at numbered targets played exclusive voice messages from the members according to the targets hit, and achieving a bingo line rewarded players with a prize. Meanwhile, a photo booth designed by Rio Shimizu let visitors jump in sync with panels of leaping members for action photos, alongside displays of the show's familiar MC desk and sushi wagon set pieces.
During a special parade winding through the park grounds, members marched to live accompaniment performed by the Miyazaki Gakuen High School Brass Band, allowing fans without concert tickets to watch and take photos from the roadside. Afterward, members took to their official blogs to thank the high school musicians, local residents along the route, and event staff.

Collecting Member Voice Stamps via QR Codes on Full-Size Panels
Full-length member panels placed around the venue carried QR codes for fan-club members: scanning the code with a smartphone registered each member's icon and an exclusive voice recording on a dedicated digital stamp page. In the regional exhibition zone, the University of Miyazaki set up a booth introducing catchphrases written by Akari Nibu and Mikuni Takahashi for the university's dairy cows alongside an illustrated cherry-salmon (sakuramasu) poster; with the cooperation of local businesses, the booth supplied 100% of its electricity from electric vehicles, adopted eco-friendly food containers, and donated proceeds to reforestation groups working around the park. Municipal booths from Miyazaki Prefecture, Miyazaki City, Miyakonojo City, and Hyuga City also introduced regional specialties and sightseeing destinations.

Exploring the Park Grounds with an Original Fan-Club Mystery Rally
An original mystery-solving game exclusive to fan-club members invited participants to scan a 2D code in the kit received at the booth to watch an opening video, then explore the park grounds to solve puzzles in tandem with a dedicated LINE account. Featuring partially different puzzles on September 7 and September 8 and rewarding everyone who cleared the game with an exclusive sticker, the activity was operated so fans could enjoy walking the park grounds even without a live concert ticket.

Hanging 4,600 Replica Daikon Radishes on a Traditional Local Farmer Tower
Inspired by Miyazaki's traditional winter drying racks for daikon radishes, the participatory 'Ohisama Daikon Yagura' project invited fans to hang 4,600 replica daikon radishes carrying fan messages onto a towering bamboo frame built by local farmers, illuminating the tower in seven rainbow colors at night. Fans who could not travel to Miyazaki in person could also participate by sponsoring one replica radish per entry, receiving traditional pickles made from Miyazaki sun-dried daikon radishes delivered to their homes as a return gift.

2024 Festival Food Menus Co-Created by Members and Miyazaki Restaurants
The 2024 festival food lineup ('Fes-meshi') originated from the 'Fes-meshi Development Battle' broadcast during the pre-event livestream 'Hinatazaka 46-Hour TV,' where Miyazaki's 'Ohisama Study Group' and local restaurants tested and commercialized menu ideas proposed by the members. 'Captain of Gyoza,' devised by captain Kumi Sasaki and prepared by local gyoza specialist Kurobei, used green bell peppers and taro; the 'Mochimaruko Tartar Chicken Burger,' involving Akari Nibu and Hinano Kamimura, paired tartar sauce made with Miyazaki-grown grapefruit with a hand-drawn branded bun; and Mana Takase's 'Manafi Special Spicy Soupless Noodles' and Sumire Miyachi's 'Smile Smile Sumi-Rainbow Shaved Ice' also lined the festival stalls.

Collaboration Menus Served at Restaurants Across Miyazaki City
Collaboration menus spread to shops outside the park as well, including Hina Kawata's 'Miyazaki-ken Pancakes da Wan' (at Riviere), Sumire Miyachi's rainbow shaved ice (at Natech), Miku Kanemura's fried chicken (at Matsuri no Oto), and Rina Watanabe's 'Oshi-Men Color Cider' sodas (at Ammy). In addition, souvenir sweets such as 'Ohisama Baumkuchen,' 'Ohisama Financier,' and plain and natto-flavored 'Cheese Manju' buns were sold not only at the 'Ohisama SHOP' inside the venue but also at Miyazaki Airport, Aoshimaya, and the ferry terminal (all offered as limited-time items during the 2024 festival).

Lab Notes | Business Perspective: Pairing Live Concerts with Local Dining, Shopping, and Hands-On Activities
At Hinata Fes 2024, stadium concerts were paired with hands-on initiatives such as building the Ohisama Daikon Yagura tower, the University of Miyazaki's EV-powered sustainability booth, and collaboration menus co-developed with local restaurants. Welcome decorations also spread across railway stations and downtown shopping arcades, creating natural pathways for concertgoers to experience Miyazaki ingredients and local businesses outside the concert venue.
Going beyond welcome banners to prepare dishes visitors could actually order at local restaurants and hands-on programs they could reserve or join turned pre- and post-concert dining and shopping into direct support for neighborhood businesses. At the same time, for temporary station decorations, limited-time collaboration menus, and canceled events such as the 2026 festival, clearly stating dates and current operating status is essential so travelers do not confuse past campaigns with year-round destinations.
